Eleanor At 18 Months

Oh our sweet Eleanor Jane. This little girl just melts our heart on a daily basis. Eleanor is now 18 months and weighs about 22 pounds. She is in the 50th percentile for her weight and the 95th percentile for her height. She wears 18-24 month clothes and now is in a size 5 shoe. She barely has hair, but the wisps she has are curly. I just love her big blue eyes and her long lashes. Yes, she is a beauty!

Eleanor is super sweet, but definitely has some sass. She lives up to her nickname of Sassy.

She has just started to really get into baby dolls and this is her favorite. When one of the boys even comes close to baby she comes charging!

I do believe she loves both of her big brothers, but she tends to get along with Everett much better at this point. Hampton loves her a little too "big" and she grunts and cries when he bear hugs her, which is many times every day.

She also loves loves baby Thatcher. I can't believe that they can share a room, but it has worked. When Thatcher wakes up to nurse in the middle of the night, she is not awakened or disturbed.

She is a very good eater. She eats most everything we offer her and drinks only milk at this point. She has 2 pink sippy cups and they are only hers! I love her sweet "yes" response when I say "milk Ellie?"

Eleanor is saying new words everyday! I have lost track of how many she says now, but just yesterday I counted 10 new words. I am so proud of my little talker.

Eleanor is very social. She just jumps right in to any social situation, whether on a play date, at the playground, or at the library story time. Children don't phase her and she is so friendly.

She is a mama's girl. She will whine and follow me with her arms up in the air when she needs more attention and we just snuggle. When I leave a room she becomes very upset. She is my side kick and I love it! I mean we have to stick together us girls. There are 4 boys in this house now!

Ellie is girly, but tough.

Funny, but can give the most serious expressions.

I love our Eleanor Jane. Her beauty continues to grow inside and out. What a joy these past 18 months have been!
