Museum Part 3

Everett churning butter in his own way.

A dinosaur made entirely of recycled material.

Noni would be proud with Everett's tooth brushing skills.

When we were finished with the museum, we sat outside on the steps and ate lunch. It was such a beautiful day.

And before heading back home, we stopped at Cold Stone for some ice-cream! A perfect family day!

Museum Part 2

Next up was the garage band exhibit......our children love music so this was super fun for them.

Our little percussionists

And Thatcher loved the music as well!

One more.....

Our big boys are really into pirates right now so they loved dressing up like a pirate a playing on the pirate ship. Ahoy!

Then it was off to the farm......

Everett milking a cow. These utters squirted out water!

And we ended up there at the perfect time-time for Thatcher to nurse. They had a nursing station with a rocking chair-perfect! I especially loved Eric sticking his head over the rail and mooing.

A Day At The Museum Part 1

The other day we went on a day trip to the children's museum in Greenville, SC. It was on my list of places I wanted to visit (locally) this summer and was so much fun! The place was so big and there were so many exhibits it was impossible to see everything. We will definitely be going back again!
I of course took a million pictures to thoroughly document the entire adventure.....

Our first stop was to visit the child-size version of a grocery store. The children loved getting to pick their own cart, pick out food off the shelves, and then "check out" the food at the cash register.

Everything was just their size.

Hampton the cashier and Everett the patron.

Next up was a very fun ball exhibit. Everett loved placing the plastic balls on top of this air-vent type thing and watching they float.

And sweet Thatcher along for the ride. He was very alert for most of our adventure. So much to see!

Everett at the Teddy Bear Clinic Exhibit. He was one serious doc.

And Eleanor just loved this. She loves stuffed animals.

We then visited the water table exhibit. This was overall my favorite. Eleanor could sit down in the table top high chair and play.

She loved it.

And the boys put on smocks and went to town. So fun!

And then there was the "big kid" water table.......very impressive.
