Four Months

I thought it would be fun to compare all 3 babies at 4 months. I think Everett and Eleanor really favor one another and Hampy has a look all his own.

The Past Few Days

The past few days have been nice. We are settling down from all the Christmas festivities and have enjoyed our days spent at home.

This boy's hair is wild. By this age Everett had at least 2 haircuts, however we have not cut Hampton's hair yet. I am sure the day is coming soon, but for now it is just a crazy mess.

The boys have also enjoyed playing with their new toys from Christmas. The fire truck in the background is at least fought over twice a day.
Everett in the box Everett in the box oh so still.....won't you come out!?!
Yes I will!

Yesterday while Eleanor was having some tummy time Hampton ran over and offered her the Chick Fil A cow. I guess he thought she was lonely.

Lunching with friends.

Mmmmm.....peanut butter and jelly muffins (with carrot puree in the recipe...you know to make it nutritious!)
And yesterday I simmered white chicken chili all day long in my new, much larger Crockpot. So yummy!

Yesterday afternoon Everett decided not to nap which left more playtime, just the two of us. We learned about the concepts of "same" and "different" via a game of Memory. His attention span is still pretty short, so it didn't last long but we'll keep trying.

And this morning was all about castle building. More specifically we constructed a castle for Buzz Lightyear. Unfortunately Hurricane Hampton came and destroyed. Poor castle. It lasted a good 2 minutes.

I wasn't feeling all that great today so we declared it a jammie day. An all day jammie day.

We also ate lunch while watching Toy Story. The boys are very much into Toy Story right now.

And it was definitely a fireside play kind of day.

Everett skipped nap again today and was definitely ready to snuggle Eleanor when she awoke from her nap this afternoon.
I am a bit obsessed with baby feet.
I love their relationship. She lights up when he talks to her and he kisses her often. Very sweet.

Merry Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas yesterday! It is definitely getting to be more fun now that Everett (and Hampton) are getting older.

Everett's gift to me was a necklace he had picked out from Target. I love it!

And Everett picked out a Slinky for Eric. It was destroyed before the morning was over.

The boys loving on Eleanor.

Eleanor's first Christmas!

She got a new doll.

I think one of Everett's favorite things was his stocking.

For lunch we had appetizer type food. Baby quiche, deli spirals, olives, anti pasta platter, and pesto pasta. It was delicious.

In the afternoon we went outside for some fresh air. It was chilly so we had to bundle up.

During naps Eric and I watched The Help. Later in the evening we celebrated with a Happy Birthday Jesus cake.

Helping Everett blow out the candles.

Hampton loved it! Can you tell!?!

Merry Christmas!

Christmas Eve

We have had a fun Christmas Eve day. This morning we went to the mall so the boys could ride the Christmas train!
Eleanor slept the whole time.

Everett loved the train. I lost count how many times he rode it. Hampton liked it the first ride, however he kept sliding off the seat and was soon over it.

Eleanor has been so sleepy today! I think she is going through a growth spurt.

I love this sweet face.

After the train we went to Chick Fil A for lunch and then went home for naps. We all napped we were so tired from the morning. After nap we enjoyed just lounging at home watching Christmas programs.

For dinner we had a Christmas Eve pizza party! We ate fireside by the glow of the Christmas tree.

Then things got really silly. Maybe it was the chocolate milk, but the boys danced around and at some point lost there jammies!

At bedtime we read about Christ's birth and talked about the reason for Christmas.

Eric and I then filled the babes stockings with goodies. I am so excited to celebrate tomorrow!

Merry Christmas!
