Family Day

Today was fun. We started off the day with orange rolls. The day has to be good if it starts off with orange rolls. And it was. Everett and I decided to venture out just the two of us to Mountain Play Lodge. This is just down the road from us and is a huge indoor playground full of inflatables, things to climb on, a castle, and a cute little play town. He loved it! He was so brave and went on all the inflatables.

Afterwards we picked up Chick Fil A for lunch. After lunch it was nap time. Or.....it was supposed to be nap time. We are dealing with some major issues with Everett refusing to nap. He is a very strong-willed little boy who is willing to go to great lengths to let us know he WILL NOT take a nap. Finally after an hour and a half battle he finally gave in and passed out. We are working on a new nap plan.
After naps we head back to Mountain Play Lodge to introduce Hampton to the fun. He loved it too! He never stop babbling the whole time. He trotted around like he owned the place. I think it officially wore the boys out.
When we got home we had supper and then did baths. The boys are now soundly asleep in their room. I look forward to visiting the play lodge during the cold winter months (which we haven't quite experienced yet).

I love how the boys' age is starting to feel closer and closer. They are starting to "play" with one another and it is fun. Funny to think that in a year or so we will have 3 littles running around.

Pajama Play Date

Yesterday morning it was cold so we decided to call our friends up for a pajama play date. These winter months worry me because we can easily get stir crazy staying at home all the time. However with friends it definitely passes the time and makes it more bearable! We were cozy in our jammies and the time was well spent!
