Tuesday

Today we......

Had sweet morning play.

I took Hampton and Eleanor on a play date this morning while Everett was at preschool. I love that Eleanor is playing with Buzz and Woody. That is what happens I guess when you have big brothers.

Hampton had an awful night last night. He was up most of the night and finally I brought him to bed with me at 4am. He stayed up until 6, then fell asleep-right as Everett was waking up. Needless to say I was pretty exhausted most of today. Praying for a peaceful night tonight.

After naps we played a bit and then had baked vegetable ziti for dinner. The boys loved it and had seconds!

And Eleanor loved her pureed version as well! She is getting so good about eating solids. She much prefers my cooking than the jarred stuff.

We are worn out, but have had a good day! I love being with these little people. The meshing of their personalities is a joy to witness.

Girls Weekend

This past weekend I had the privilege of going on a weekend trip with my sweet Eleanor. We went to Durham to visit my mom and my aunt who had flown in from Florida. This was my first trip solo with Eleanor and we had such a great time! It was amazing to just study her, spend one-on-one time together without distraction, and bond as mama and daughter. I love learning about my children, however sometimes it can be difficult with the busyness of taking care of all three.

Eleanor borrowed the boys' suitcase for our trip!

Eleanor loving on her baby doll.

I love this sailor outfit!

Some recent things about my girl:

She likes bagels.
She has completely mastered sitting up on her own.
She can take a bath sitting up now-with her brothers.
She says "mama" with intent. She also says "dada" as well.
Today she got on all fours and starting rocking back and forth-ready to crawl!
She has 1 tooth.
She is starting to really love solid foods.
She loves to snuggle with mama in the wee hours of the morning.
She is an absolute joy and lights up the room!
Can you tell we love our girl!?!
