Little Bunnies

This morning I got all my little bunnies dressed up. I tried to get a good picture of all three together, but of course that is difficult.

I love her little jelly shoes!

Then later this morning we joined Everett's preschool class for his Easter party. The children had an egg hunt, a fun little lunch, and then I read a few Easter books to the class.

Hampton was so happy he was invited!

Hampton will love preschool in the Fall I'm certain.

And little sassy just sat in her stroller the whole time watching all the children.

We had a fun morning and I guaranteed naps for my three-an added bonus!

Time with My Girl

Completely unrelated to my thought process with this post, but I wanted to document how my boys have been eating lunch lately. Their favorites have been berries, grapes, and sometimes a banana. We also like edamame, green beans, and diced carrots. Such a colorful plate!

Our wooden cutting board is getting a lot of use lately! It has a permanant home on our kitchen counter in fact.

I was talking to a friend the other day on the phone about how I really struggle with mommy guilt. I am constantly pulled in three different directions between my crew and along with maintaining our home-it can be a lot. Recently I have felt like I have not been able to savor Eleanor's babyhood as much as I would like. The thing is though that I have two little boys who also require a lot of attention and energy. But she doesn't seem to mind. She gets plenty of love and attention even if that means I cannot rock her for hours on end like I would like.

What is amazing about the Lord is though is He knows my heart, my desires, my needs and He is always faithful. Yesterday I got to spend some special time with just my girl.

I had a doctor's appointment in the morning and I brought Eleanor with me. Thankfully a friend watched my boys. It was so fun to be out just us girls. Everyone ohhed and ahhed over her and I must say she is adorable. She eats up the attention too.

Then in the afternoon she was the first to wake up from naps and we had a full hour together for some quality time. It was just what we needed.

6 Months and 2 Years

Hampton and Eleanor had doctor appointments today!

Hampton had his 2 year check-up.

And Eleanor had her 6 month check-up.

They both did so great waiting....

Hampton is doing great. He is a little behind in gross motor, but I figured that since he walked so late. I guess we will be working on running, jumping, and kicking.

Funny-he exceled in personal-social skills. Who would have thought!?!

Hampton weighs 28 pounds and is in the 75th percentile for his weight and height. He is in the 98th percentile for his head circumference. Hampton is eating and sleeping great. He eats most of all his meals and loves fruits and veggies. He also loves his sweets (all natural of course!) He sleeps well throughout the night and takes an afternoon nap. Today all he had due was a hemoglobin check, which he passed! Hampton is a fun-loving, silly, social, and very smart boy. He loves loves to dance. Lately he has been "testing his boundaries" and his strong-will is definitely surfacing. Overall though, he is usally joyful for 98% of his day. We love him!

Eleanor is doing great as well. She is now on only formula and has gained 2 pounds over the past couple weeks! She now weighs 15 pounds and is in the 25th percentile for her weight and 75th percentile for her height. She is in the 90th percentile for head circumference. Eleanor is still not interested at all in solid foods, so we are still working on that. She can sit supported. She did well on all of her developmental milestones so far. Eleanor is a very sweet, flexible, snuggly girl. She loves her big brothers and lights up when she sees Everett. She is such a beautiful addition to our family.

. Eleanor had vaccinations, but did well. Today we were sent home with a nebulizer to help her recover from her lingering RSV. Today was great and once again I feel so blessed for the health of my children. It is so fun to see them grow and develop

That's How She Rolls

Can you tell she has big brothers!?!

Stay At Home Day

Today was a "stay at home" day. We only ventured out mid-morning to pick up some things at the market. We had a good day.

I think she looks like a Who from Whoville in this headband.

Oh Everett. He has really been into "reading" lately. He has stacks of books everywhere.

I love this face.

And he has been serving us ice-cream all day.

And he has been a mess! He is the phase where he still has a hard time communicating exactly what he wants at times.

But he is still Hampton. And no matter the mood, he is still a joy. Many random dance parties broke out today completely initiated by him.

And they played so well this morning with trains.

Supported sitter.

For lunch they had homemade wheat crackers, carrots, soy beans, strawberries, and blackberries.

Yum!

Everett did not nap, but he did keep me company while I prepared dinner. We had carrot apple ginger soup and homemade apple chips.

When Eric got home he took the children to the market (again) and I got some cleaning done. Then things got silly at bedtime. The boys thought it would be funny to put on Eleanor's headbands.

After the children went to bed we then had a special treat. Cinnamon glazed popcorn and cashews. Yum! A great end to a great day.
