Apple Dumplin' Gang

This morning we went with our friends, the Mertens to an apple orchard. We had so much fun! Everett was very excited that the first thing he got to do was play on a swingset. I love how Abigail and Everett look like they are having a deep conversation in this picture.

Eric, Hampton, and a goat. Hampton kept pointing to it and saying, "baaa."

Everett was brave enough to feed the goats.

A classic Hampton facial expression.

Feeding the ducks. Everett gave the rest of his apple to one of them.

What very well may be our last family picture as a family of four. Next time we come here, we will have Eleanor with us!

Now we have a bushel (or is it a peck?) of apples to make some apple pie and applesauce!

Pictures from the Park

Yesterday afternoon we took the boys to the park. It was hot, but not too hot. It was nice because we were the only ones there. When Everett was given the okay, he just ran toward the playground. This little one is coming along with learning to walk, but he has not taken his first steps independently yet. He can walk holding our hand, but mostly he just crawled around.

We did have them wear walking/running shoes though! Hampton walks better in these than his Crocs.

Everett never stopped running from the moment we got there. Such a great way to burn off some little boy energy!

I love his chubby cheeks and blueberry eyes.

Still on the move. Poor guy kept asking me to chase him or crawl through the tunnel. Not possible 9 months pregnant however.

I kept telling Hampton to get up and walk, and he kept shaking his head no.

I know he is three, but he still looks like a baby to me. I love that.
