First Day of Spring

Happy Spring!

Sometimes I wake up feeling like staying at home all day with the children. These days involve staying in jammies, taking it easy, and just enjoying home. Other days I wake up with energy-let's go on an adventure! Today is the first day of Spring and the weather was gorgeous. This equals adventure! The "twins" and I dropped Everett off at preschool and headed to the arboretum after Eleanor's morning nap. We brought a blanket and lunch. I was bound and determined to snap a few photos and make a few memories. We did just that.

Things are starting to bloom......

It was warm this morning. And Hampton had a meltdown-literal and figurative. After all, he is 2 now and with that comes the quest for independence. Rebellion soon follows. Tantrums have become more frequent these days.

Sassy sunbathing.

In this picture she is way too interested in watching Hampton have another meltdown off to the side! Poor boy was sweating by the time I got him to the van. His head was a mess of wet curls. Both babies fell fast asleep on the way to pick up Everett.

I am looking forward to Spring. I love the colors and the outdoor fun it all brings.
