My mom came last Thursday for a short visit. We had so much fun....shopping, eating, watching movies, and playing with Everett. She watched Everett on Saturday night so Eric and I could go out on a date for my birthday. We went to P.F
Changs, then went and saw "Julie and Julia." The food was delicious and the movie was good as well. We don't get out all that much (just the two of us), so it is always a treat. After the movie we went out for
Coldstone ice-cream (thanks Gigi!).
Today is my actual birthday, and since we had already kind of celebrated, we kept everything low-key. Eric made me a delicious breakfast of biscuits and gravy, eggs, and grits. A real Southern breakfast. After that, we just relaxed at home and played with Ev. Later this afternoon we went to the park and ran some errands. For dinner tonight, we just ate a smorgasbord of all my pregnancy cravings.....meatloaf, stuffing, and
bruschetta Eric made me a chocolate cake.....yum! Overall, I had a great birthday because I spent it with my boys.
