Morning Playdate and Friends
My good friend Sally Ann watched our babies this morning so Eric and I could go to our doctor's appointment. I am impressed with Sally Ann as she watched 4 babies 3 and under. Everett and Hampton had such a fun time! So grateful and blessed by good friends.
Everett loves babies! Also funny, Hampton has also been calling Everett a "baby" recently.

On My Toes
These little guys keep me on my toes lately! Yesterday I was in the living room and the boys were playing. Hampton had been in the kitchen for maybe 2 minutes and was being way too quiet. I thought he was playing with his train......
But no. He had gotten into one of the drawers and took out all the Zip lock bags and dish towels.
Then Everett took a quick break from his wild behavior to take a nap.
I had my 36 week appointment today. She is measuring right on track, heartbeat is good, and I have not progressed since last week. I am still 1cm and 50% effaced. I am happy because I do believe she will get to term, however I am a bit disappointed because I was kind of hoping to be a bit farther. My OB still thinks she will arrive soon, however you just never know! We have plans to relax this weekend and enjoy our family of four before things change once again.

Baby Hair
Yesterday I took Everett to get his hair cut. We only do this maybe about twice a year and it had been awhile. Since he is starting preschool soon, we had to get him cleaned up! This is the before picture. 
Everett was borderline infatuated with this cut-out. He asked me to take his picture with it.
This is the first time Everett ever sat in the chair by himself.
And the after picture. He was excited to get a blue lollipop for his big boy behavior. It is hard to tell how it looks here because it is still wet, but I was very pleased with the results. He is turning into such a big boy!

Afterward we ran through the car wash, so Everett said it was "my best day." So happy it doesn't take much to please little ones.

Pregnancy Update and Eleanor's Nursery
I had my 35 week appointment yesterday. Everything went well. I am measuring right at 35 weeks and her heartbeat is strong. I am 1 cm dilated and 50% effaced. My OB predicts at this rate we definitely won't make it to our due date (Sept. 12), but is confident we can make it to 37 weeks. I really want her to be full-term, so I am praying she can wait just another week. I have another appointment next Thursday, so we will see where we are at that point. We are very excited to meet her!
Here are some of her headbands. I have enjoyed making some of them.
And her closet! It has been so fun adding to her wardrobe and of course I had to have pink hangers.

Looking out her window. I love that our crepe myrtle in the front yard has just blossomed with beautiful pink flowers. Just in time for her arrival!
I was very pleased with how the wall decal turned out.
The "taggie" on the table is a gift our friend Jordan made for her. I was very impressed.
Some prints we ordered off Etsy and framed.
They worked perfectly in the room.
A cute doll my mom got for her. I can't wait to fill that frame with a picture!
Her bedding. Hampton has already broken this in as he has been sleeping in her room for nap time.
I love how her nursery turned out! It is such a bright, yet cozy room. I am very excited for her to see it.

Yay Books!
This morning we went to story time at our library. Today's theme was birthday parties. Blurry picture once again, taken from my phone-I keep forgetting to grab my camera. 
Everett likes to sit in the back of the room for story time. Hampton however likes to be in the center amongst all the kids. He is so social! I was impressed watching him from the back of the room as he was able to follow directions from the librarian. For example, she would say clap your hands or pat your head - and he would do it! She also brought out a cow puppet and he squealed saying "moo moo!"
After story time we went and checked out a few books. I got "Dick and Jane" to read to Everett. Everett even got a free book today since he has now completed the summer reading program. I also checked out the first Harry Potter book for myself. I thought it would be fun to start that series.

It was a bit tricky holding Hampton, my purse, and our books while also holding Everett's hand out in the parking lot. We made it to our van thankfully, but I was praying no one would melt down before we got there. They saved the meltdowns for the car ride home!
I am not so sure if I will be able to manage this type of outing with three little ones. I'd like to think that I could, but I am also trying to be realistic. Thankfully Everett starts morning preschool (Tuesdays and Thursdays) later this month. I will then be down to two those mornings.

I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow, so we'll see if any progress has been made. If I have her when the boys were born, that is only a week and a half!
