Urban Cowboy

Everett had so much fun dancing. He even made a dancing buddy.

Hampton's Room

Last weekend my mom and I worked on revamping our guest room. Since Hampton was born he has been sleeping in our "guest room" in a pack n' play. Finally we decided to just abandon the idea of a guest room for now and use the room as Hampton's. Our goal is to eventually move Hamp into Everett's room and have them share, but for right now he has his own space.

I moved all of his clothes into the closet as well.

I love rocking and nursing Hampton in this glider before bedtime now. It is one of my favorite times of the day with him.
Mom and I went to Michaels for inspiration and materials. We framed his initial and I love how it turned out.

We also painted these pictures. I am pleased with out they came out.

Hampton's Nana made this quilt for him. It is sock monkeys and is the story of the five little monkeys jumping on the bed.

Hampton loves his new room!

Company

This weekend Everett and Hampton's Grandpa and Nana came up for a visit. We had so much fun. Friday evening we went to a restaurant called The Fiddlin' Pig. It was barbeque and bluegrass music and we had a front row seat. Not only did they have music, but there was dancing as well. Professional cloggers to be exact. Everett loved it.

After dinner Everett took his turn dancing. It was so funny. If he has an audience, he'll entertain and I love that about him.

On Saturday morning we had brunch at Cracker Barrel. While the boys were napping we watched movies and relaxed. Everett, Hampton, and I enjoyed reading some books and having a picnic. Their Nana made this quilt for Everett. I love it.

That evening we had barbeque again (take-out). Everett just loves his grandpa. He took to him right away and I can't count how many times he said, "I want my grandpa please" throughout the weekend. Too cute.

This morning we went to church. Afterwards we went to Carrabbas for lunch and it was so good. The babies were getting a bit restless however, so I had to take them to the waiting area to play. The hostess was so sweet though because she gave Everett some pizza dough to play with. Such a clever idea and he had so much fun.

Grandpa loving on the babies.

Such a great weekend and we were sad to see them leave. We have promised them a visit this summer where I am sure the boys will have fun blueberry picking and swimming.
