Some of our best days are the ones where we stay home. Today Everett did not have preschool, so we all got into our comfy clothes and stayed home. Nothing to do. No where to be. I love it. And as we enter the best months of the year in my opinion-October, November, and December.....I love being home even more.
Today we played Play Doh, colored, read a ton of books, watched Curious George, and were just plain lazy. It is funny-even a "lazy" and "relaxing" day at home is a ton of work with diapers to change, snacks to be handed out, breakfast and lunches to prepare, clean up, arguments to be dissolved, messes to be kept under control, and entertaining to be done.....but I would not trade this job for anything else.

And with the new Fall season of television here, Eric and I are looking forward to tonight. I am also making a lentil and sausage soup and pumpkin dip for dessert. It is the little things sometimes that usually make me the happiest!
