Happy to See Daddy

Have I mentioned we were so happy to have Eric back after his 2 weeks in Louisville?!!

Random picture of Everett riding his bike at the park. We went out for a ride one day while Eric is away.....

Daddy's home!!!!

Blurry, but oh so good.......

The hugs continuing the next day, before church.

Lots of love between these two....

She's sweet.....

and sassy!

The girls......

Reunited!

Nature Center

While Eric was away, Gigi and I decided to take the littles on an adventure to the nature center. It was so fun and only 1 meltdown-success!

Everett loved the "otter" slide. He went down it at least 10 times.

Hampton went down the slide too......

he was just a bit more weary!

Thatcher and Gigi otter watching.

They reminded me of Maggie dog.

Eleanor otter watching.

She insisted.

Hampton spots a turkey vulture.

Headed to the petting zoo!

Pretty girl......and a goat.

Hampton taking it upon himself to adjust Ellie's hair bow.

Eleanor searching for a bear. And she found one!

The three in a tree (stump!)

A lot of love going on in this picture.

While Daddy is Away.....

Eric just got home a few days ago after being gone for TWO WEEKS!!! This is the longest we have ever been apart since being married and we missed him. He was in Louisville, KY for seminars. We are so proud of him and that fact that he is a PhD student-so we let the seminary have him for awhile. But we are so happy he is back.
I am also so happy that Gail (Gigi) came and lived with us for those 2 weeks. I seriously could not have done it without her and it helped my sanity for sure. Plus, the children love her and we had fun.

And Thatcher loved all the extra attention!

Eleanor is such the messy eater!

Thatcher had his 4 month check-up: 15.5 pounds. He is growing so fast!

We had a play date with Madilyn and Abigail. Here they are playing "Daddy" and "Mommy"

Such a smiley boy lately.

Museum Part 3

Everett churning butter in his own way.

A dinosaur made entirely of recycled material.

Noni would be proud with Everett's tooth brushing skills.

When we were finished with the museum, we sat outside on the steps and ate lunch. It was such a beautiful day.

And before heading back home, we stopped at Cold Stone for some ice-cream! A perfect family day!

Museum Part 2

Next up was the garage band exhibit......our children love music so this was super fun for them.

Our little percussionists

And Thatcher loved the music as well!

One more.....

Our big boys are really into pirates right now so they loved dressing up like a pirate a playing on the pirate ship. Ahoy!

Then it was off to the farm......

Everett milking a cow. These utters squirted out water!

And we ended up there at the perfect time-time for Thatcher to nurse. They had a nursing station with a rocking chair-perfect! I especially loved Eric sticking his head over the rail and mooing.
