A few weeks ago Eric and I signed Everett up for gym classes at My Gym. One of the main reasons was so that Everett would learn that other babies exist, and to help him develop social skills. So far he really seems to enjoy it and so do we. Every week they teach a new skill. Like yesterday was mastering a handstand. There is also free play with all the gym equipment, and they set up play stations as well. There is also a circle time, which is really cute. The only downfall...class is at 9 am on Saturdays. Little monkey is worth it!

Pain At The Pump
I know that this was a common phrase a few months ago when gas prices were ridiculously high; however after pumping at work for about 8 months now, this phrase has taken on a whole new meaning. As Everett is slowly approaching the big 1, I must say that I am really incredibly sad to wean him from nursing (I tear up every time I think about it), yet I will not miss having to pump twice a day at work! Having to drag that darn pump to work everyday, washing all the parts, having to interrupt my working day.....ugh. So why do I keep doing it? Well....the little stinker below may have something to do with it!

Spring has Sprung!
Spring is here! I am so excited. It was a long, hard winter. Today we had fun with our friends Aidan and Harper. I used to nanny them when they were babies and now they are almost 5! Everett really seemed to enjoy playing with them. Today Everett and I also went on a trip to Walmart and took a nice walk outside. Other than that, our day consisted of me chasing him around the house! He is getting so fast. Here are some pictures of our day along with an Easter preview. Everett playing with Aidan

This One's For the Boys
First of all let me say that it is a wonder that I am even able to show you these pictures. Saturday night our camera miraculously survived a 20-minute drive on the back of our trunk. We were going to a friends house and as I was loading everything up, I set our camera on our trunk and well, forgot about it. As we were unloading, Eric noticed it and I screamed. I could not believe I had left it there and I really could not believe it had made it. We had even driven on the interstate. Yikes. Thank you Lord! Anyways, it is because of that miracle I can share these pictures of Eric and Ev....my two favorite boys. I thought they looked so handsome the other day, so I had to take a few pics. I am so grateful for Eric and everything he does for our family. I am also so blessed that Everett has such a great "dada" and role model. The Lord has truly blessed this girl with two amazing boys! In other news, we have enrolled Everett in gymboree classes (pictures to come...if I don't flush the camera down the toilet or anything) and Everett has learned how to clap and does so frequently.

Crawling to Bathtime
It has been a really long time since I posted a video! Everett has been crawling for about a week now. He is getting to be pro. Enjoy :)
Mama Mia!
It would be a huge understatement to say that Everett is very into Mommy these days. I am so excited that he has recently learned to say "mama" and "dada" discriminitely (i.e to the correct person), however it is so sad when I leave a room and I hear a very sad boy crying for his "mama." Therefore, putting Everett in the church nursery has been a battle. He has never really been 100 percent comfortable in the nursery, but now it is getting really hard. He cries instantly when I pass him off and cannot be consoled (even by food, which is amazing). The ladies in the nursery are so sweet and yesterday one of them suggested that I try playing with him for a few minutes in the room, and then slowly ease away. I pray it works. I would love to hear a full sermon. It has been months! Even though this phase of Everett having separation anxiety can be draining at times, a woman in our church yesterday gently reminded me that I should be very thankful he is going through this because it is completely normal. One day I imagine I will be clinging to a 16 year old Everett crying, "Don't you still want your mama?!?"
